Another issue that I would like to find out what people think of is the design liability! In a traditional contract the Architect is a proffesional who demonstrates reasonable care and skill. He/She is entitled to a state of the art defence unless h…

I run architects practices, that's what I do (though I trained to be an architect, like many women, I got sidetracked...) See my Linkedin Profile for more information.

Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday!

And about Barefoot & Gilles:
Clients come to Barefoot & Gilles Architects because we focus on their specific needs – we call it Design that Delivers.
That should do it, but you can see more at our website.

And I've just started a new blog. Will try and feed it in here.

Maybe it is a tutorial on "Understanding the relevance of Twitter to those that have brains like Goldfish" (BTW That is me). You will get a lot of people turning up by my reckoning.

Su, thanks for accepting my invite. Just looking to expand on my networking abroad and as it relates to architectural visualization and my business. No hard sales efforts on my part, if people stop by our site they can see the quality/value of what we offer.

Take care,

Russell

Thanks Su,

I have joined the site and will have a look at their events list. Do they have any meet-and-greet events? I think this is an area we need to learn more about. Also we're not based in Essex!

Hi Su

yes, it does sound like a full-on afternoon, feast or famine really. It will be strange meeting 'virtual' colleagues, although there is a whole 4 hours to do it in. I think I will be a little late, Im doing something from 12 and will have to tear myself away, will try and get there by 2.30 latest, hope you will still be there.
Thanks for introducing me to this site, I just 'got into it' yesterday for the first time, and spent about an hour looking around. I can see the potential!
best wishes
Sue

There are eight of us here. What would we like to discuss? I'm interested in a cultural approach to architecture. Kind of anti-international style. I try to respect others in what I design. Any comments, ideas?
