"Could you go where Archimedes has been before? Once you get passed the idea of dunking a building in a giant bath-tub, its not so ridiculous! I am thinking of a pontoon. Displacement of a lake? Measure water level, add pontoon, measure displacement,…"

Architect led multi-disciplinary design team services

Sifting through the Public Tender alerts you will see this term used a lot. Amongst other-things; I would be very interested to know what it is supposed to mean? If it means, 'this is an opportunity for small firms to pitch on a collaborative basis' - then count me in! I would like to quite brazenly propose that, not all of us are capable of going-it-alone. We do a lot of work helping marketing firms pitch for work and we are desperate for a bit more soul-food. I saw the following tender in the…See More

Thanks Su,

I have joined the site and will have a look at their events list. Do they have any meet-and-greet events? I think this is an area we need to learn more about. Also we're not based in Essex!

Hi Sam,
Promised to tell you about the Designers Network might be of interest, there are some 3D designers who collaborate there:
http://www.designersnetwork.co.uk/

It was set up originally by Business Link in Essex but has been a freestanding nfp collective for quite a while. Run by Sally Brazier, design management consultant and long-time friend of mine. Some of their members will be exhibiting at Destination Growth in November. http://www.eeda.org.uk/destinationgrowth/

If you'd like to get involved contact them via the website or I could ask Sally to put you on their list/get in touch!

MgO boards bonded with vinyl membranes

Dear All, Our factory makes MgO board based lamination products. We can glue membranes or acrylic sheets to MgO boards to make them into high quality decorative boards. They are better than HDF and MDF laminations as MgO boards are fire resistent and work well in water. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me. Best regards, Sam See More
