I sailed once in Maine. Beautiful. We could gather mussels and cook them in the sailboats kitchen.
Sailing (where I last lived) on Maryland Eastern Shore was a nightmare. 14 foot depth, two seconds later 2 feet and aground.
So loving the canoes.....

See you sailing. Massachusetts is probably the sailing capital of the US. SW GA is not.
I have a few wood and canvas sailing canoes that I am slowly restoring. Beautiful! Bad thing is they need boat numbers. Mechanical propulsion.
I am NOT putting boat numbers on these canoes.

Damn. I don't know, I live in the middle of nowhere in SW Georgia. I happened across it in Borders in Atlanta. I realize that Massachusetts can be as isolated as Georgia. If you can't find it, I'll scan it and send it to you. Let me know.
Good to be friends.
Thanks.

I would welcome any comments or contributions to how we can apply lean principles to the construction process in UK, given the the structure and system that we are operating in (please see the attached report on a recent visit to Japan)

London 2012: Olympics a massive opportunity to learn how to set targets

Long-time friend of the blog, Andrew Kinsey, Senior Sustainability Manager at the Athletes Village for Bovis Lend Lease, kindly invited myself and a few colleagues to have a nosey around the Athlete’s Village back at the beginning of November. We had fantastic luck with the weather as you can see from the picture, which is a view [...]

Housekeeping

So I’m almost totally moved into the new pad in London and can’t quite believe I won’t be trekking up to Leeds every weekend any more. The upside is that all my books, files and clothes are now in one place, if not yet quite organised. In the spirit of spring cleaning which moving house always [...]
